The "General" tab on your dashboard is where you can update information about your blog and your author profile.

Here is how to update the general settings of your blog:

Step 1: Log in to Your Hashnode Account

Step 2: Navigate to Manage your blogs

Once logged in, click on your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen.

From the dropdown menu, select "Manage your blogs". This will take you to your blog management interface.

Select the dashboard icon on the blog you want to update.

Step 4: Navigate to the General tab

Update your Publication details and social profiles, add Impressum and Purge your blog cache when needed.

- Click on the "General" tab.

Publication details, social profiles, and an impression will be shown on your blog home.

The "About this publication" field will be shown in the author's publication description, and without this field filled, the author's name and followers wouldn't be shown.

Your blog homepage layout must be either a Stacked Layout (the default layout), a Magazine Layout or a Grid Layout.

Manage your Publication Name, About Me, Social Media Profile, Hashnode Profile, and your blog Impressum
